Elissa's First Christmas...

Christmas day was a very busy day! Presents to open, people to see, food to eat, football to watch! The day started with breakfast for three... Heather made French toast, ham (imagine that) and mimosas! Heather finally got her food processor (in two sizes!) and Nick his electric skillet. I can't imagine why we can't seem to loose any weight around here!

We joined the Whisennand clan for lunch at Deni's. Everyone was excited to hold Miss Elissa. Deni was glad to have her picture made with all of her grandchildren. Hartwell (aka Papaw) carved the turkey and we had a big feast.


Next stop, Aunt Barbara and Uncle Dave's for Christmas dinner with the Boyces and Pastalaniecs. Dave and Nick revealed that they were closet Star Wars geeks when they opened their presents from Tad. They had the good versus evil battle in the back yard (I will let you guess who was who). Ted even joined in the fun by showing off his "fencing" moves.

Elissa had a wonderful day filled with family and fun for her first Christmas.
