Moving Day

Elissa helped mom, dad, aunt Cindy, aunt Brenda, uncle Mike and Grandpa pack up Grandpa's house. There was a lot to pack, I did my best to be cute! Fortunately, we were all packed up and ready to go by the end of the month... just in time!

A star is born! Katelynn starred as Tallulah in "Mugsy Malone". In my opinion, she stole the show... who knew that she had a great singing voice! Aunt Heather and family were very proud.

Dinner with the Pastalaniecs

Elissa enjoyed visting the family at Aunt Barbara and Uncle Dave's. Snuggling with Margie was a lot of fun...not to mention Grandma and Grandpa Boyce were in town!

Waiting for a Valentine...

Aunt Barbara and Uncle Dave bought Elissa a "Valentine" outfit... her first pair of jeans. All she needs now is a Valentine to sweep her off her feet, although Daddy would prefer that she wait another 30 years!

Snuggling with Snoopy

Today, Elissa sported her new "Snoopy jogging suit" that Grammie got her for Christmas to keep her warm.

Tummy Time

After Elissa's appointment today with Dr. Miller... "tummy time" is very important. Apparently, Elissa's head is slightly flat from laying on her back too much. She is getting very strong and is beginning to hold herself up. Not to mention notice herself in the mirror... Good news is that she has doubled her birthweight and is now 14 pounds and 25 inches long. Elissa is in the 90th %tile for height and weight. Dr. Miller reassured us that she is not "fat". She said to consider Elissa very healthy and to shoot anyone who may say she is too big! :) She had 4 shots today and wasn't feeling too fabulous. She can now have Tylenol and that really seemed to calm her. We go back for 5 shots on March 6th. I don't know who will be more bothered... Elissa or Mom!

We Love New Clothes!

As Elissa gets bigger by the minute, so does her wardrobe... we are now breaking into the 3 to 6 months and even some of the 6 - 9 months clothes. We really enjoy dress up time (Heather does more than Elissa!). The teachers at school are always excited about seeing her in a new outfit. This one is from friends Amy & Jason in Dripping Springs.

Nap Time or Play Time?

Elissa is confused... not sure whether she should play with the birdies or let them sing her to sleep!

In Style for School

Elissa was proud to show off her new outfit from Cory & Greg. She even tolerated the hat until we got to school, so her teacher's could see how cute she was!

Happy Birthday Deni!

Heather and Elissa joined the girls (and Taylor & Carmine) at Cheesecake Factory to celebrate Deni's birthday... Deni was happy to show off Elissa and Shelby in matching overalls... Elissa's are a little snug... unfortunately it looks like they may be retired soon!

Elissa's First Day of School

Today was a hard day for Heather and Nick... they got up early and got the little "pea" bathed and dressed to impress. Elissa slept on the way to school and barely noticed when we put her down in her "crib" at school. Heather maintained her composure throughout the paperwork process but didn't do so well pulling away from the school. Fortunately, Elissa's school is right around the corner from SYSCO so she isn't too far away. Her teacher said that she was a good baby and that she is really alert in the afternoons. She must have "played" really hard because Elissa was wiped out by the end of the day. She didn't have any problems falling to sleep that evening. This was great news for Heather and Nick! We hope the mornings will get a little easier and have fewer tears.

Happy New Year!

We hope that 2006 bring you and your family great things. Our new year started off great... with good friends, good food and lots of laughs.

Elissa and Nick cheered on the Texans for the last game of the season... it was a disappointing loss and we are sad to see Coach Capers go. However, we do look forward to the #1 draft pick!! Things can only get better from here...
