Elissa had fun hanging out with Mommy, Aunt Brenda, Aunt Cindy & Aunt Michele... it was a little hot outside but Zach and Alli had a ball in the sand box!

Elissa is 8 Month's Old!

Elissa is getting into everything! She is very curious about her surroundings... today was no different. She found herself under the coffee table, but could see mommy up above... couldn't figure out why she couldn't why mommy couldn't pick her up! Eventually she figured it out...

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day! The Boyces had a lot to celebrate this year...1st official Father's Day for Nick. He enjoyed the morning golfing with Greg, JG and Roy... although Greg thought the tee time was way too early!

Heather and Elissa enjoyed lunch with Grandpa Whisennand, Deni, Aunt Brenda, Uncle Mike, Katelynn and Zach. She was very stylish in her new dress Aunt Brenda got for her!

Later that evening Grandpa & Grandma Boyce came in on their way home from Nacogdoches. Aunt Barbara & Uncle Dave joined the family for dinner as well.

I am a big girl!

Forget crawling... Elissa wants to stand! She is officially pulling herself up. Heather & Nick are not quite ready for what is coming... better get ready PDQ!

Headed Home...

Sunday morning we packed up the car... after Elissa & Daddy's nap of course. The gang headed into "town" for a good seafood lunch and hit the road.

Elissa was happy to see Mr. Boo & Billie... Heather & Nick were happy that they got a bath!

All Worn Out

The crew was "partied out" by Sunday and relaxed in the Heider's cottage. The Elliotts and the Pastas headed back to Houston.

The rest of the gang hung and watched the Rocket's debut with the Corpus Christi Hooks. The girls got creative with the fajita's leftovers and made some good enchiladas.

Saturday was a lazy beach day... which got started with breakfast at the Boyce's cottage... Cozy!



Elissa and Daddy even caught a quick nap before heading to the beach!

Let the Party Begin...

Once we arrived in Port A... the party began! We threw some burgers on the grill, (once the fire got hot... which is a whole other story) played a little cards, (fun until Nick started losing), and the Pastas announced the big news... http://pastalaniec.blogspot.com/. We were ready for the beach!

Road Trip...

Well, The Boyces finally ventured out for a mini vacation... Friday morning we packed up and hit the road to Port Aransas to hang for a weekend of fun with the Pastas, Heiders, Elliotts and Kevin/Denise duo! Who knew it required so much stuff to travel with Elissa! The sad thing is that Aunt Barbara had more Boyce stuff in her car! Elissa traveled well, which we already knew from road trips to Kerrville.

Mom and Dad are in trouble already... Elissa is already flirting with the boys. The part you can't see is Austin's shirt... "Lock up your daughters"! Nick is already practicing the phrase, "Get off my lawn".
