Time for Rodeo!
Elissa, Heather and Nick headed out to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo to check out some animals and Miss Moo. The visit with Miss Moo was not as successful as last year, something about big stuffed characters and Santa that Elissa doesn't want ANY part of... They were able to check out the Grand Champion and the Reserve Champion steers.

Dr. & Mrs. Craig Burns
The wedding was beautiful at the Davis Islands Garden Club. The wedding was in the Gazebo outside overlooking the water. Elissa made it through the first 5 minutes and then Nick had to walk her to the back, she felt like saying a few words. Elissa enjoyed being the center of attention and danced with all of the girls.
Visit to St. Petersburg
The crew headed out to St. Petersburg for the day and had a great time walking along the pier with the pelicans. Lunch was fabulous at Dan Marino's restaurant. The weather was incredible the only thing missing was the stroller!

Welcome to Tampa!
Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Tadd met Elissa, Heather and Nick at the airport... we checked into the hotel and introduced Elissa to Aunt Barbara (Nick's aunt) and Uncle Roger. They dropped off really cute welcome baskets from Craig and Jen. Dinner followed at an Irish Bar & Grill... food was good and the waitress had a great Irish accent.
Elissa's 1st plane ride...
Elissa, Heather & Nick flew to Tampa for cousin Craig's wedding. They were a little worried that they would end up like the couple who recently were escorted off of the plane because of their toddler's bad behavior. Fortunately, Heather "planned" the flight right around nap time, so Elissa was a little angel. She fell asleep right after we took off and work up right before we landed.

The Azeala Trail
Heather, Nick & Elissa spent the day with Grandma and Grandpa Boyce and the Pastas (aka Barbara, Dave & Sean) at the Azelea trail.
They had a great time checking out Ima Hogg's beautiful gardens at Bayou Bend. One of Heather's favorites is the Carla garden which was named after an area in the garden was cleared by Hurricane Carla. She placed a beautiful peacock in the garden, shown here.

Happy Birthday Cary!
Heather, Nick & Elissa joined Cary, Michele, Robin and Melissa for Mexican food and lots of fun for Cary's birthday. The Mariachi's serenaded Cary and Elissa had her first experience on the play ground... she is hooked. This child has NO FEAR unfortunately. Michele and Robin had to jump in and show off their nursing skills to help a waitress who had fainted.
